The summer is coming up, and i want to find some activities to keep myself occupied. I am a teenager, and somewhat of a loner. Don’t get me wrong, I have many friends, but i am not popular. I have friends that I could hang out with on occasion, but the summer will be very long and i need to find something to take up the time. I already do Brazilian jiu jitsu, and that keeps me busy for half the day on Wednesdays and Fridays. There is a golf course near by that i could get free lessons at. Also i was planning to start skateboarding. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    My dream job is to work at a golf course. I love the atmosphere of golf courses and the game of golf itself. Does anyone know what kind of jobs are offered and the best way to land one? My goal is (hopefully) to one day own one.

    4 of us are planning a trip in April. We are all good golfers (+3 to 9 handicap). We are looking to play 3/4 rounds of golf on good courses and enjoy a nice local hotel or some sort of accommodation. I don’t really know where to start looking online. Appreciate any recommendations….

    If you’ve traveled a lot for work and played golf across the country, let me know what region or what cities have the most amount of courses per capita.

    I used to live in Atlanta and we had the worst municipal courses anywhere. I like California and Florida.

    I was reading these golf books for how to improve your game and there is a section in the book talking about the differences between Bent and Bermuda grass, particularly the Bermuda grass at Bay Hill in Florida.

    It says in the book that Bermuda grows best in hot climates and that and also there is minimal grass between the ball and the club because it gross sideways.

    I have played on one course where I live (Queensland, Australia) where it may have been Bermuda grass but what im wondering is what is the common grass types for golf courses around Australia and for that matter, if you live anywhere else in the world, what country generally uses if you know, even if its just a guess.

    Im bored, have nothing else to do and wondering what grass is typicly used.

    I live in western MA and I’m turning 17 soon.
    I was trying to find something to do on my birthday, it’s on a Tuesday so I was planning a party for Friday, but I also want to do something on my birthday. I was thinking of going to a restaurant for dinner then glow in the dark mini golf.
    What is something I could do during the day to fill the time?
    And, where are there glow in the dark mini golf courses in western MA?

    I understand why agriculture and the spraying of noxious weeds (ie poison ivy) are exempted but why golf courses. Do golf courses need to be weedfree when golf courses don’t affect human health and welfare?
